The evaluation

First, find out what's actually driving the weight.

Weight gain is rarely about willpower. Medications, sleep, stress, hormones, insulin resistance, and plain physiology all push on the scale. Your evaluation maps which of those are pushing on yours — history, current medications, sleep, targeted labs, and an honest look at what's been tried before.

Then the plan is built around your life, not a template: what you eat, how you train, what you can sustain.

  • Full health and medication history
  • Metabolic lab work as indicated
  • Sleep, stress, and lifestyle review
  • Goals set around strength and health — not just a number

GLP-1 medications

The honest version.

Specific semaglutide and tirzepatide products are FDA-approved for defined uses, and for some men they are a legitimate tool. They also come with real side effects — nausea and GI issues are common early on — and rare but serious risks your clinician will review with you. They require screening, they require monitoring, and they are not right for everyone.

Two things we will never do: promise you a specific amount of weight loss, and blur the line between FDA-approved products and compounded versions. Compounded GLP-1 products are not FDA-approved, and we do not present them as equivalent — the FDA itself has raised concerns about them. If medication is part of your plan, you'll know exactly what it is, why, and what the evidence says.

  • Approved medications explained by name, indication, and evidence
  • Side effects and serious risks reviewed before you decide
  • Compounded products are not FDA-approved and not treated as equivalent
  • No guaranteed amount, rate, or timeline of weight loss — ever

Nutrition & strength

The non-negotiables.

Medication or not, the foundation is the same: enough protein, food you can actually live with, and resistance training that protects — or builds — your muscle while the weight comes off. Losing weight while losing strength is not a win.

Your plan is built to be sustained on your worst week, not just your best one.

  • Protein-forward nutrition built around foods you actually eat
  • Resistance training to protect muscle and strength
  • Habits designed for sustainability, not a 30-day stunt

Expectations

What results actually look like.

Progress is rarely a straight line. Plateaus happen, life happens, and maintenance is its own phase with its own plan. We track more than the scale — strength, energy, labs, how your clothes fit — and adjust when the data says adjust.

What we won't do is quote you a number. Any clinic that guarantees a specific result is telling you what you want to hear, not what medicine can promise.

At a glance

Lab requirements

  • Baseline metabolic labs as indicated (for example glucose/A1c, lipids, kidney and liver markers)
  • Review of current medications that affect weight or interact with treatment

Ongoing monitoring

  • Scheduled follow-ups to review progress, side effects, and adherence
  • Repeat labs as indicated by the treatment plan
  • Body-composition and strength focus alongside scale weight

Who should not start

  • Weight-management medications are not appropriate for everyone — certain personal or family medical histories, pregnancy, and specific conditions rule out specific medications. Your clinician reviews this before any prescription.

Questions

Straight answers.

Are GLP-1 medications FDA-approved?

Specific semaglutide and tirzepatide products are FDA-approved for chronic weight management or type 2 diabetes in defined patient populations. Compounded versions of these drugs are not FDA-approved, and we do not present them as equivalent to approved products.

Will I lose muscle while losing weight?

It's a real risk with any significant weight loss — including with GLP-1 medications. That's why adequate protein and resistance training are built into every plan, and why we track strength alongside the scale.

How much weight will I lose?

No honest clinic can promise you a number. Results vary by person, plan, and adherence. We commit to a real evaluation, an evidence-based plan, and close follow-up — not a guaranteed figure.

What are the side effects of GLP-1 medications?

Nausea and gastrointestinal issues are the most common, especially early. There are also rare but serious risks that make these medications inappropriate for some men. Your clinician reviews all of this with you before any prescription decision.

Do I have to take medication?

No. Medication is one tool, considered only when appropriate after evaluation. Many plans are built on nutrition, training, and metabolic factors alone — and the decision is always made with you, not for you.
