TRT consults by Florida telehealth
TRT consults anywhere in Florida. Still lab-first.
Clear Men's Health is a physician-led Tampa clinic that offers testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) consults and follow-ups by telehealth anywhere in Florida, while you are physically in the state. Low testosterone is confirmed with two early-morning blood draws at a draw site near you, and treatment is considered only after a lab-confirmed diagnosis and a safety review.

Florida telehealth
Can you have a TRT consultation online in Florida?
Yes. Consultations and follow-up visits can happen by telehealth from anywhere in Florida, as long as you are physically in the state at the time of the visit. The blood work that every decision depends on happens in person, at a draw site near you.
Telehealth changes where you sit, not the rules. No prescription is promised at any visit, and treatment is offered only after a lab-confirmed diagnosis, a safety review and a shared decision with your clinician.
Care is directed by Jason Saylor, DO, our Medical Director.

How it works
How do telehealth TRT consults work?
Four steps. No surprises. You always know what happens next and why.
- Call or request a consultation: call during office hours, or send the form below and our team will reach out.
- A private consult: meet with a clinician by Florida telehealth, or in person in Tampa.
- Two morning blood draws: two early-morning blood draws on different days, at a draw site near you, measure your levels.
- Your results, together: your clinician goes over your labs and safety review with you, by telehealth or in the office. If treatment is appropriate, your plan includes follow-up labs and monitoring.
Where we serve
Where in Florida can you be seen by telehealth?
Anywhere in the state, as long as you are physically in Florida at the time of each telehealth visit. Our only office is in Tampa. For everyone else, your clinician sends the lab order to a draw site near you, so your blood draws happen close to home.
Your results come back to your clinician, and you go over them together by telehealth or in the office. Men in the Tampa Bay area can choose to be seen at the office for any visit.

The evaluation
Can low testosterone be diagnosed by telehealth?
Partly. The history and symptom review can happen by video, but the diagnosis rests on two early-morning blood draws on different days, done in person at a draw site near you.
Fatigue, low libido, lost muscle, brain fog — these can come from low testosterone. They can also come from sleep apnea, thyroid problems, depression, medications, or simply overdoing it physically. That's why major medical guidelines require laboratory confirmation before anyone calls it low T.
- Full health history and symptom review
- Two separate early-morning testosterone measurements
- Screening for other conditions that mimic low T
- Review of current medications
Risks & contraindications
What are the risks of testosterone therapy?
Testosterone therapy has real risks, and you deserve them in plain English before you decide anything. It can suppress your body's own sperm production — which matters if children are in your plans. It can raise red blood cell counts, which is why hematocrit is monitored. It can worsen acne and untreated sleep apnea, and prostate health is monitored throughout treatment.
Some men should not take TRT at all. Reviewing that honestly is part of the evaluation, not a footnote to it.
TRT is not appropriate for everyone — including men trying to conceive and men with certain prostate, blood, cardiovascular, or sleep-apnea conditions. Your clinician reviews contraindications with you before any prescription.
- Fertility: TRT can suppress sperm production — tell us if children are in your plans
- Blood: hematocrit is monitored on a defined schedule
- Prostate: screening and monitoring appropriate to your age and risk
- Not appropriate for everyone — contraindications reviewed before any prescription
- Blood pressure: testosterone can raise blood pressure, which is part of what is monitored
Monitoring
How is TRT monitored?
TRT without monitoring is how men get hurt. Your plan includes scheduled follow-ups — which you can take in the office or by telehealth — repeat labs at defined intervals, and dose adjustments based on how you respond, with clear criteria for when to change course or stop.
You're not buying a prescription. You're entering a monitored medical program, and we take the monitoring half as seriously as the prescription half.
What has to happen in person?
Care here is available two ways: in person at our Tampa office, or by telehealth. Consultations and follow-up visits can be either — whichever suits you.
Blood draws and any hands-on examination are done in person, because they cannot be done any other way.
Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit.
Questions
Questions about TRT consults
Do I have to be in Florida for a telehealth visit?
Yes. Telehealth visits require you to be physically located in Florida at the time of the visit. Your location is confirmed at the start of every telehealth visit. If you are not in Florida, the visit does not go ahead.
Who can use telehealth for TRT consults?
Adults 18 and older who are physically in Florida at the time of each visit. Consults and follow-ups can be by telehealth; blood draws happen in person at a draw site near you.
Do I need to come to the Tampa office?
Not for consults or follow-ups, which can be by telehealth anywhere in Florida, and blood draws happen at a draw site near you. If any part of your care has to be in person, such as a hands-on exam, your clinician tells you what and why before anything is booked. If you live in the Tampa Bay area, you can choose to be seen at the office for any visit.
Can I get my blood drawn near home?
Yes. Your lab order goes to a draw site near you, anywhere in Florida. Low testosterone is confirmed with two early-morning draws on different days, because a single reading can mislead.
What if my levels come back normal?
Then you have a real answer. Additional labs as indicated can help rule out other causes of your symptoms, and your clinician explains what else could be behind your symptoms and what to do next. A prescription is never assumed, never promised, and never the goal of the visit.
Does a telehealth visit guarantee treatment?
No. A telehealth visit never guarantees a prescription, any more than an office visit does. Treatment is offered only after a lab-confirmed diagnosis, a safety review and a shared decision with your clinician.
